The Lantern Festival in Denver provided more thrills than expected as a frightful wind descended on the event making us all wonder if we would be lit up  like marshmallows.

But with extra blankets, a warm fire, and a serious commitment it blessed us with breathtaking views as the lanterns followed the winds high into the heavens carrying both prayers and remembrance for all those we love.
